We - Jon, Fred and Matt- are fundraising for Tots for Cots/N.E.S.T in memory of Isobel Rose Stafford-Wood, daughter of a good friend, who died at nine days old following a spontaneous uterine rupture in January 2021. The Neonatal Emergency Stabilisation and Transport team transported Isobel promptly and safely following birth so that she could receive cooling treatment at a specialist hospital. They also brought Isobel to meet her mummy before the journey. There is only one team in the South-West of the UK and they transport approximately 600 babies a year. They provide a mobile intensive care for sick newborn babies and are supported by the University Hospital Bristol NHS Trust.

This is our first attempt at a full "140.6 mile iron distance" triathlon- a 2.4 mile swim (3.9K), 112 mile bike (180.2K), and 26.2 mile run (42.2K). Back to back. 

In light of being unable to get to Copenhagen (again!) for the official Ironman race, we will complete the distance in the New Forest on the 21st August 2021.
