After a number of years of trying I have been lucky enough to get a ballot place in the 2021 London Marathon.  I wanted to wait until I was able to run for a charity that is close to my heart and as Chief Executive of Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust I couldn’t think of anything better than doing my part to raise money for our new dedicated breast unit.  Fundraising has been going well but we still need another £250k to reach our £2million goal and make this a reality.  The video above explains why this development is so much needed.  A dedicated facility will better reflect the amazing care our breast team provide, improving the experience of patients and making life so much easier for our staff.
