At a time when so many people are suffering real hardship, both locally and in more distant places, through homelessness, migration, poverty, mental illness or loneliness,  St Paul’s church is developing itself as a centre that serves the local community and reaches beyond itself to places and people whose needs are so challenging. This requires a significant building project to fit itself for the future and to serve those in the community who are less able to help themselves.
