Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 18th October 2009, I shall again be running (or as I like to call it: 'walking') around Battersea Park London, to help MedEquip4kids with their fundraising. Please sponsor me in my fundraising efforts to help this important children's charity.
My intense summer training programme only started this week and involved me watching several football matches to gain the necessary inspiration. I'm also flying to work for a few days on the Island of Jersey and in Switzerland. I've been assured this will help.
I will be accompanied by my dog Casper and hoping that he will be able to make it in a straight'ish line around the course. Depending on the generosity of the handicapping rules there is a chance Casper might win a prize as the fastest dog around the course...not bad for an incontinent 98 year old.
