We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

In July 2017 my Dad & best mate Steven was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. His intital operation was a success however we have just found out that the Cancer has returned and is now terminal. After his operation he suffered a stroke and was paralysed for a number of weeks. He has lost most of his speech but continues to fight on. After this terrible turn of events I want to fight back on behalf of my Dad and raise some money for such a great cause that might help families like ours in the future. On Sunday the 18th of March I am boxing at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in an attempt to raise £500 for Cancer Research UK. I have been training for the past 6 months and owe a lot to my coach Jamie and corner man Gaz for their help and support, maybe not as much to Gaz for the black eyes and smashed noses! My Dad has shown what a true warrior he is, now it’s my turn to make him and the Charity proud. See you all on the 18th! Tickets are still available at £20. If you can, dig deep and donate some money through the link below. JP x
