Compass Housing Alliance began in Seattles Pioneer Square in 1920 as a haven for those working in the regions earliest industries. Over the decades, Compass began offering increasingly comprehensive assistance to Veterans, families with children, and men and women with complex needs. With 20 locations serving over 13,000 people annually, Compass meets the needs of the community across the Puget Sound region by providing enhanced emergency housing programs and affordable housing programs for those experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
