Story

Hi Everyone! Thanks, so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for helping support me for the London Marathon 2020, Great North Run & Cardiomyopathy UK.

As some of you know, I have run a couple of events now and can promise this will be my last for a while. So, please help me raise some more money for Cardiomyopathy UK in 2021.

I have lost a good friend to Cardiomyopathy and now help coach people who suffer from one of the different forms of Cardiomyopathy, please help by giving as much as you can.

Thank you to all that have supported me and those that will,  going forward.

The charity - it is the only UK charity that is solely dedicated to helping support individuals and families who are affected by the heart disease cardiomyopathy. Cardiomyopathy is the disease of the heart muscle itself and with six main types the symptoms in individuals range immensely, but all affect the heart's ability to pump blood. It can affect anyone at any age, and it is thought to affect around 160,000 people in the UK.

Cardiomyopathies are mainly genetic and inherited from parents, therefore, diagnosis in a family usually means immediate family members are recommended to be tested. It is a relatively unknown disease and raising awareness is invaluable to the charity and the families living with this condition.

Thank you for reading, I appreciate any support you can give :)
