Hadrian's Wall Challenge · 13 September 2015

Myaware aim to make life easier for people living with myasthenia, a severe muscle weakening disease. It is a little known condition and we work to raise awareness and support people and their families. We seek out and fund the research that brings us closer to a cure. It all helps.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I had never heard of Myasthenia Gravis up until about 10 years ago. My Mum was the person who informed me of this condition as she had just been diagnosed.

Fortunately she was one of the lucky ones, but many people go undiagnosed for years.

So this is why I am raising awareness and money for Myaware, so others know about this illness and this great charity.

I am walking/running Hadrians wall path in two days, which is an 84 mile hike that stretches the width of England. For those who don't know, Hardians wall was commissioned by Emperor Hadrians 2000 years ago. It purpose was to protect the Roman empire form the barbarians from the north. Also it marks the northern most point of the Roman Empire.
