At the end of September I am taking on one of my biggest fears... I will be jumping out of an aeroplane at 15,000ft. That sounds daunting just writing it, but those of you who know me, know that this isn't the first time I have raised money for a special cause, something close to my heart. 

The single thread that runs through the Cooper Associates Foundation is this we want to give back to those most in need, which is why the main focus of the Foundation is on children and young people who have special needs through illness or disability, or who are disadvantaged in other ways. These youngsters who may not have had the best start due to illness, disability, injury or who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through the work the foundation do we can improve their young lives, give them hope, opportunities, better care and a chance to heal. This focus struck a chord with me, and so I appeal to you. 

We all hear from charities on a daily basis some times walking down the street and sometimes a call to the home phone, and I know there are a lot of charities out there but I feel compelled to raise money for the Cooper Associates Foundation because the money is going where it is most needed, not wrapped up in admin charges, paying out middle upper management but going to those who need it most. 

Please give generously, the target is £500 but with your help I know we can smash it!
