Story

Hello

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

As you may be aware my brother Mike, has been receiving treatment for bowel cancer over the last few years. During this time, Bowel Cancer UK (*) have been a great source of support and information, for our family.

On the 11th September 2022, I’m running The Great North Run, on behalf of this worthy charity. Having previously run this distance (13.1 miles) for them last autumn. On that occasion the last three miles were a real struggle, however I'm sure nowhere near as grueling an experience, as that endured by cancer sufferers.

I’m sure any funds raised will go to help the lives of those, directly or indirectly affected by this awful disease.

Many thanks,

Jon / Jonathan / Trotty
