Well, I did it (though I did take that scarf off)! The crowds were great and everyone was very supportive. The guys on the tannoy's kept giving me a mention which was nice. During the race I heard some people saying "I can't believe we're being overtaken by a morris dancer" :-).

The hat kept the sun off nicely, and the bells warned people I was coming up behind ...ideal running kit if you ask me ...
