Ingoldisthorpe Live Music Event for Prostate Cancer Research

Jonathan Orchard is raising money for Prostate Cancer Research

12 Dips in December · 1 December 2025 to 31 December 2025 ·

Help us create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer by taking on our 12 Dips in December challenge.

Story

In October 2025, our world changed when I was unexpectedly diagnosed with prostate cancer—caught early, thanks to a friend telling me to get a PSA check. It was then that we realised how vital awareness is.

As I begin this journey, my goal is to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer, to openly talk about it, and raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research. This page began with the 12 Dips in December Challenge. We thought, why stop there!

December - 12 Dips in December

My amazing 9-year-old daughter Florence joined me as we took on the “12 Dips in December” challenge along the chilly Norfolk coast. Florence was quite excited to get into the sea, me less so! Challenge now completed!

January - 31 miles run and 2 mile swim

Jon - I completed the 31 miles in January challenge for Prostate Cancer Research.

Florence - I completed swimming 2 miles.

February - Live music and entertainment evening

The wonderful team, and friends of Ingoldisthorpe Sports and Social Club kindly offered to help present an evening of Live Music and Entertainment to keep the fundraising going!
