Hello to all my friends or friends of friends etc etc

Firstly thank you so much for helping me out and coming this far!  And just so you know i'm gonna run my socks off to reach that finishing line and hoepfully raise as much money as I can........ i'll probably sing most of the way ha ha 

As many of you know I, and the rest of my family, look after my mother Janet alot of the time due to the fact that she has been ill for more years than I can remember now.  She has had many complicated operations and procedures throughout her life and if it wasn't for St.Marks hospital then she simply wouldn't be with us today!!

So I have roped a very good friend, Neal Grainger, into running the marathon with me and he is very kindly raising money for St.Marks too. So we have alot of training to get done but im sure we'll push each other through the pain barriers to come to suceed in reaching that finishing line.

St.Marks is situated in Harrow and is one of the world's few specialist hospitals for colorectal diseases, they are spearheading the fight against diseases of the bowel with ground breaking and pioneering new treatments but the funds need to be raised so that this can continue.  People travel from all over the country including Scotland, Ireland and wales to be in the professional and specialist care that is St.Marks.
