Story
Ok so I am at it again with another attempt at raising money for Leonard Cheshire Disability.
For those of you who don't know me, I work for Leonard Cheshire Disability at a nursing home based in Surrey called Hydon Hill. My role is Day Care and Activities Coordinator and I have had the great pleasure of working at Hydon Hill for just over 3 years. The people who use our service suffer from serious physical disability linked with neurological disease or injury. We have currently 32 people in our care and many more come on a daily basis to our Day Centre.
This year myself and 6 other members of the team raised over £4000 by doing a skydive over Salisbury Plain. This money went directly to Hydon Hill to boost our fundraising for our very own art gallery and café which the residents and local community will benefit from.
This time I am going to get a little hot under the collar by doing a Firewalk on the Southbank in London. What could possibly go wrong?
Please help me raise funds for the Charity I work for and help us support people with disability within our service. many thanks
