Story
This is my first and last Marathon . I was encouraged into this mid-life crisis madness by my friend and client Rosie Thomas. She is a trustee of Saving Faces and I have been moved by the need to raise money for this charity which receives virtually no government funding for research.
It is now a month to go and the training is becoming a bit easier. I ran a 20 mile race last week in 3 hours 23 minutes so am on for the target of 4 hours 30 minutes for the Marathon.
I do hope you can make a contribution to keep the old legs going. It will be so much appreciated by me and much more importantly by the people helped by Saving Faces.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Facial Surgery Research Foundation - Saving Faces will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
