Cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats · 3 September 2010
Update: Barbara and I have achieved it!! We reached our finish line at 7.30pm on Wed 15 September, after battling through the rain and 65 miles-an-hour winds.
Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored us. You can see photos and updates on how we progressed each day at www.twitter.com/jecsteer.
Once again, thank you so much for all your kind support and generous giving.

For 13 days starting 3 September 2010, my housemate Barbara and I will be cycling just over 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats. If the training is anything to go by, we'll find this to be a real challenge, both physically and mentally.
With your help, we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for a small local charity in St. Albans, called Open Door (www.opendoorstalbans-district.org). They do a tremendous amount of hard work trying to help the homeless off the street and in to accommodation and give them a start towards a better future.
Open Door was my mother's chosen charity when she was Mayor of St. Albans, and I'd like to help them in helping those who are in need of their support.
If you're able to sponsor us in aid of Open Door that would be really appreciated.
Thanks so much for taking time to look at my JustGiving page.
We'll keep you posted on our progress....
Many thanks,
Jonathan and Barbara
