Story
This summer I’m competing in the Haute Route Alps, along with 500 riders from over 40 countries, in what has been described as “the highest and toughest amateur cyclo-sportive in the world”.
Here’s my numbers...
- Cycling 800 kilometres: Up and over the Alps from Nice to Geneva
- Climbing over 21,000 vertical metres: The equivalent of Mount Everest from sea level, 2.5 times
- 7 days riding, with 7 back-to-back mountain stages: From 28th August to 3rd September.
I’d be so grateful if you could make a donation towards my personal fundraising target of £2,500.
Knowing that I have your support will give me the extra boost that I’ll surely need for what will be some extremely tough days in the saddle.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you!
ps: I've also set up fundraising pages through the Haute Route official fundraising site (http://TT1.akaraisin.com/hauteroute2016/topps), but finally managed to find a much easier way to raise money through Just Giving. Sorry for any confusion!
