Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 8th August, I will be participating in the Outlaw Ironman Triathlon in Nottingham ( Swimming - 2.4 miles, Bike 112 Miles, Run 26.2 Miles)

After last years Ironman in sunny Bolton, where I vowed at the finish line , I would never do an Ironman again after 12 hours of activity and a 6am start  !.  Here I am,  contemplating another one !

My chosen charity is Parkinson's disease ,  why Parkinsons ?   Well, my Aunt passed away last year,  having to live with Parkinson's for a number of years, so I thought it would be great to raise some money to help this charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many Thanks for your time

Jon
