Story

My story starts when I agreed to train with a close friend who was running in the London Marathon 2020 in memory of his brother in law who has sadly passed away following a brain tumour. Following the 2020 cancellation with training continuing I wondered whether I could join him in the 2021 Marathon and support this great Charity. By chance a place has recently become available with the Charity and I have accepted the challenge. Thinking back over the last 15 years I realised that I have lost a family member, two friends and a work colleague to brain tumours and recently my Aunt to pancreatic cancer so I've decided to run this marathon in their memory.
