Try imagining waking up and not remembering your family or friends and having to re-learn your life. It’s a horrible thought but in Essex, every 58 minutes someone is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury.

A family friend was unfortunately one of those people admitted to hospital a few years ago and the support and help he got from Headway was amazing. But they can only give that support with the donations made by all of us!

On Sunday October 3rd I’m doing my bit to help support Headway Essex and will be running the London Marathon, something I haven’t done before but it’s been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Last year I was supposed to run the Colchester Half but this was cancelled due to Covid-19, so now I’m doubling down on the distance and I need your help along the way please! I’ve had a few injuries over the last few months but hoping to dedicate the next few months to running to help raise as much money as possible!
