Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in the memory of our incredible friend Lisa Plumbridge, who so so sadly lost her battle with cancer at the beginning of this year at only 29 years old.

So, all those of us who knew Lisa from Bristol University, where we met and began our epic journey of friendship, have joined together to raise money for Katharine House Hospice in Oxfordshire who looked after Lisa and her family in her final few days and who we know made her as calm and comfortable as possible.

Katharine house runs entirely on charitable donations. What they did for Lisa was so very incredible, we want to make sure they are able to keep offering such vital support to other people and their families in these terrible moments of need.

Lindsay and I live in Hackney, we figured that if we were going to put ourselves through the rigmarole of the run, we'd at least want to be able to get home quickly (apologies to those running who are from further a field.... like New Zealand). More importantly however, for most of the time that she lived in London, Lisa was in Hackney, granted she may not have been running around it, but she definitely loved it here.

So, in memory of a wonderful woman who loved this little town, me and the wife will run through it, probably not very glamorously. Please give what you can to help protect the future of Katharine House and the invaluable help they offer families in their darkest hours.
