Story

Recently my mum was taken seriously ill due to Coronavirus.

She was admitted to Northampton General Hospital where she has to go into ICU and go on a ventilator.

During this time my dad was also taken ill and had to call an ambulance who’s paramedics treated him at home with exemplary care.

Mum managed to fight the virus and came out of ICU and continued to improve on a daily basis, managing to return home only a week after coming out of ICU.

Mum would like to thank everyone involved in her care and we as a family would like to thank NGH for saving our mum, our “rock” life!

As a small way of saying thank you, my kids, her grandchildren, are trying to raise as much money for the NHS as possible by completing 2.6km on pogo sticks in our garden on Sunday 26/04/20

Please give what you can.
