Story
I am hopefully raising lots of money and awareness for a local charity that is awesome. Like most causes unfortunately they are the result of a sad story, Ted Newton aged 11 passed away after being diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. His family overwhelmed by the support and kindness of others decided to give back with a charity cricket match that sparked a fire in Blandford Forum not seen since 1731.
From that moment, with amazing work from is family and friends, some close, many not so close, but all watching from the side with admiration on how, a team of people fought back on behalf of Ted to Fight Cancer.
Fighting back with Rock at the best festivals I know "Teddy Rocks” It has had amazing headline acts like The Darkness, The Futons, Ash, Feeder and loads more. Teds love for rock inspired his older brother to start a rock festival at the family pub which exploded to what it is today and has raised £420,909 since 2011.
They do it all now, walks, parties, mountain climbing , cycle rides, skydives and more to mention. all in the memory of Ted but to also help other Children fight cancer.
Next year they are aiming to break a record for GoSkydive and I am in to help! The most people they have had jump for charity.
Please help me support them, create awareness and money for their amazing cause. That could be with a like, a share, a pound or a hundred. All is donated and it does make a difference. Check out Teddy20 and help turn up the heat on the fire.
Thank you
