Our objective is simple: 'Building Better Futures' for young adults with autism, by providing bespoke employment training and work experience. Training takes place at The Autism Trust & Polly's Place in Camberley, which sells handmade gifts & art created by people with autism & their families.

Story

Imagine a child that cannot socialise and give hugs and kisses, is not potty trained, cannot play imaginatively or with siblings and peers, a child who may be self injurious and may never speak. These are just a few issues that affect the child and the family.

Autism affects 1 in 100 individuals in the U.K. Many have a very bleak future after school age and The Autism Trust will be building an eco friendly , organic, centre of excellence where autistic adults can live for life.

I desperately need your support to raise £10,000 for the Trust

Billy, my son, who was diagnosed with autism in 1999 is doing fantastically well but I cannot guarantee he has a secure, healthy, safe and stimulating future without me here to look after.

Since Billy's  diagnosis I have become hugely involved in supporting the autistic community through our quarterly magazine, The Autism File, completing a second degree in Clinical Nutrition to set up the diagnostic Autism Clinic, aimed at treating the many biomedical issues associated with autism, international lectures and now the Autism Trust registered in 2007.

Please help me make a massive difference to those individuals and their families.
