Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page. 

I am planning to take part in the Greater Manchester Marathon on April 3rd 2022 in aid of MNDA. As many of you will know, our good friend Andrew Ditty was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2013. Since the diagnosis Andy and I became very close, whilst coaching the St James Spitfires and also sharing a huge passion for West Ham United. 

Unfortunately Andy suffered with MND for 7 years and ultimately passed away in October 2020. The Ditty family are still great friends and the I know the support they have all received throughout the last few years has been touching. I think I can talk on behalf of many that I still think of Andy every day and I have so much admiration for both Andy and the Ditty family with how they handled the situation so positively day in and day out, and will be continuing to think of them throughout my training and event day itself!
