Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

So it seems a 10 k isn't going to cut it any more....

I'm swimming, cycling and running in a mini triathlon at Hawick on 1st July 2012 to raise money for Alzheimers Scotland.

It's partly to say Thank You for the support and advice they have given Dad as Mum's illness progresses, partly in anticiaption of all the future good works they will do and partly and to support their research and care activities.

I've given up (sort of) the fags'n'booze lifestyle & have even been seen in Lycra shorts. Yes. It's that serious.

Please sponsor me - your good will and support will get me round the course. I'm aiming for £1,000 this year - it's a bigger undertaking, so I'm really going for it.  Every bit of cash is appreciated and goes to a cause which helps hundreds of people.

Thank you

Jools
