Story
Good Evening All
It's that time of year again! Charity Time!
As most of you all know, once a year myself and other colleagues get together to raise funds for our amazing charities, Tommy's, Wizz-Kids and Make-a-Wish. All three charities do amazing work for families up and down the United Kingdom.
So this year's chosen event is... 🥁 drum roll please 🥁... TOUGH MUDDER! We're completing the course on Saturday 30 July, so just short of two weeks to go. If you are able to sponsor me, I'd be truly grateful, it all goes to a worthy cause.
What is Tough Mudder?
Try the Tough Mudder 5K obstacle course and shake up your boring 5K run with Tough Mudder’s world-class obstacles. Get your friends together and make a Tough Mudder 5K your next team challenge. Featuring 13 of our famous teamwork-inspired obstacles jampacked into 5K course, Tough Mudder 5K is a fast paced, team orientated challenge sure to test you and your friends. With obstacles like kiss Of Mud, Everest, Mudderhorn and Electroshock Therapy, you're guaranteed to level-up your boring 5K jog.
Who are the charities?
Tommy's - We’re dedicated to finding causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as providing trusted pregnancy and baby loss information and support.
Whizz-Kids - Our vision is a society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included.
Make-a-Wish - A wish revives a childhood stolen by critical illness. It brings light and joy to children and their loved ones and leaves a profound and lasting impact on all their lives.
Some of our previous events are cycling 26 miles around Kielder reservoir, climbing a little mountain known as Ben Nevis and walking from coast to coast in a relay style manner, covering Cambrian coast, Newcastle, North Tyneside and up to Berwick.
