Jordan's 100km March Challenge

Jordan’s 100km March Challenge · 21 February 2021
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Time for a challenge.
This lockdown for most has been the most difficult and I am certainly in that bracket.
I love a challenge, something that’ll test me both physically and mentally.
I am not much of a runner and that reflects my inactivity in the last 10 months as I have only ran once in that time. 5km in 10 months.
So, I’m going to times the amount I’ve ran by 20 and divide the amount of time by 10. That’s right, I’m going to attempt to run 100km in 1 month.
I’m also doing this to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of Andy and Lee’s dad, Paul Hardiman.
Andy and Lee themselves have been doing a challenge in memory of their dad. Andy’s is where every time Dom Solanke scores for Bournemouth he has been running a marathon. Solanke scored 10 goals before he got injured a couple months ago and Andy changed it to every game the Chezzers win. We’ve only won twice since our number 9 has been injured. I never thought I’d say this but, we miss Dom Solanke. So in total Andy has ran 12 marathon in roughly 6 months which is an unreal effort!
Lee took part in the Step Up Challenge in November and December where he walked over a million steps in 50 days which worked out at around about 10 miles a day walking. In September this year Lee will taking part in his second ever Ironman in Wisconsin, US. An Ironman consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and then a marathon (26.2 mile run) that’s what you call a proper challenge! His last Ironman was over 7 years ago. Go on old man!
