Fundraising for Fertility Network UK
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many will know, we are just one of the many couples who are going through fertility treatment. In the UK, there are 3.5 million people affected by the devastation and pain fertility issues wreak.
Since beginning our fertility journey, one thing we have been shocked at are the numbers of young couples we have seen. We have also felt that there is not enough information out there to show how common fertility issues are.
Fertility Network UK provide help and support to people who are affected by fertility issues. They also co-chair 'Fertility Fairness' and act as the patients voice in the campaign for equitable access to NHS fertility treatment in the UK – based on medical need and not postcode- highlighted by their recent 'Scream4IVF' campaign.
Anyone who has or is going through fertility treatment will know just how difficult it can be and by running my first marathon in aid of Fertility Network UK, I hope to be able to raise awareness of this.
