Story
Hi, my name is Jordan Bond and very soon I will be swapping my home comforts to live inside a glass box in full view of the public at the Tesco store in Stafford - for a whopping 150 hours!
I will enter the glass box at Noon on Sunday 6th November 2016, and if successful, will leave at 6pm on the Saturday (yes, 150 hours later!).
So why am I doing this?
Many autistic children, and their parents, have told Caudwell Children that living with autism is often like living inside a glass box - the difficulties in communication, being starred at from all directions and a sense of feeling isolated are often associated with the condition.
I can certainly empathise with these views, as I was diagnosed with autism when I was a student at Staffordshire University. That was a few years ago, and I am now the Manager of the Phone Shop in Stafford.
I want people to learn more about autism and the fact that there are so many positives to shout about. By doing this I hope to generate more interest in to the condition, which will hopefully lead to a better level of acceptance and understanding.
I will be supported throughout the 150 hours by volunteers from Caudwell Children, who will be on hand to discuss how they support autistic children and their families - plus we will be fund raising for their vital support services, so all donations will be most welcome.
Please visit me instore during my challenge - I will be working, eating, sleeping and keeping myself entertained for the full 150 hours. Mobile phones are banned inside the box, which will be a nightmare for me as I love my tech. You will find the box located in the main foyer of the store - you really won't be able to miss it!

Thanks for your support!
