If you watched Look North on Friday 5th March you may have seen a story featuring a man at St. Leonard's Hospice in York.
He is my cousin Jordan.
Jordan is 36 years old, a talented artist and published author. He has a loving wife and a beautiful 18 month old daughter. He truly is one of the best people you could ever be lucky enough to meet.
He also has terminal cancer.
The Look North report shows Jordan writing letters to his daughter in order that she can hear them in later life and remember her daddy.
St. Leonard's Hospice in York are looking after him - and doing a great job.
We realise that this pulls at the heart strings and we are sorry if this causes pain for anyone who has had to go down this road. We are not sorry for telling you Jordan's story if it gives you a reason to donate to this brilliant cause.
It is a heart-breaking and saddening fact but Jordan is not alone, there are many, many people who are making this painful journey and fighting this battle. Not all of whom are able to be supported in the way he has been.
To express our thanks, gratitude and admiration for the exceptional people who work at St. Leonard's - David, William and Thomas are running and shuffling 10km each day for 10 consecutive days in April 2021.
Please give anything that you can spare, it will all be gratefully received and go on to help St. Leonard's carry on their fantastic and necessary work.
Love you Jordan !!
David, William and Thomas
