London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·

It helps children who are suffering from leukaemia and cancer. It also helps members of the family who are in need, hardship or distress while supporting such children.

Story

I am running the London Marathon to raise money and awareness for The Emily Ash Trust.

They are a charity who help and support children, teenagers and young adults who are battling cancer. They also help their families, with the aim of trying to make a very hard time just that little bit easier.

They do this by organising memorable days out, such as; build-a-bear workshops, London shopping trips, theme park days etc. They also supply new toys, gadgets and equiptment for the children that are unable to experince day events due to treatment schedules.

The volunteers at The Emily Ash Trust cater to each child as an individual, to ensure they get the best possible experience that they can offer them.

They are more than just a charity, they are a family.

I have been involed with the charity for many years now, helping out where I can from pamper nights to tough mudders. This year, I have chosen to run the London Marathon to continue to raise awareness and money, so that this truly incredible charity can continue to support children and families.

Any donation, small or big, will be greatly appreciated and myself and The Emily Ash Trust would like to thank you all in advnace for the support!
