Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for The 2021 Chicagoland Ringer to benefit the MACC Fund! I will be among a small group of golfers to play 100 holes of golf on April 26th 2021, with fundraising proceeds supporting the MACC Fund in the fight against childhood cancer and blood disorders.
This is the first fundraiser where I've lead a team and I'm very excited to raise some real money for an incredibly important cause. I have special ties to this event since one of my very good friends, Mike Bielawski, runs it, leads fundraising for the MACC Fund, and committed his career to this cause. Additionally, one of our dear friends in Western Springs recently learned of their son's new battle against leukemia which has inspired me even more to support this effort.
I realize there are many causes and great organizations that need our dollars, but I'm hoping you will at least consider joining me in some way - even if it's $20. Furthermore, I am going to match every donation given to my team. Therefore, every $1 you give is really $2.
A little about the MACC Fund....
For the past 43 years, the MACC Fund has been funding research to find a CURE for childhood cancer and blood disorders. It has contributed over $70 MILLION to research and 80%+ of those funds have been generated through events like The Ringer. While the MACC Fund is based out of Wisconsin, they share research and learnings with medical institutions and personnel across the country. Learn more about it's mission by visiting their website at www.maccfund.org.
Thank you for your consideration! I hope to raise the most dollars vs any of the other participants in this event - that way we all win if we push each other.
Joe
