My name is Joseph Malpas and I am 3 Years old, my Mum helped me to set up this page.

As i am only 3 years old, i do not fully understand the pandemic situation which we all face in our daily life at the moment. My mum tells me the bravery of some wonderful people who goes out of their way to help people and faces the risk of catching this horrible virus Covid-19. Mum told me they are called "key workers" and they are "our superheros" just like my favorite superheros "spiderman" and "Batman". Mum tells me we must appreciate and thank them for what they are doing as each day they are risking a lot and making sure that our lives can continue. Im sad to understand and learn that the 8pm clap for the NHS has now stopped as i really enjoyed showing our appreciation for all their support they provide to us,  I enjoyed claping by our front door, in the garden and even in bed when mummy fights to get me to sleep 😁.

It made me think how i could continue to show appreciation for our superheroes. Therefore, we want to show our apreciation in a different way as in these difficult times, it gives us all as individuals the chance to show we care about these fantastic people and to make a difference.

Inspired by some amazing people, my Mum told me of their stories on how they raised money for good causes.
For so long mum and I wanted to do something together to raise money for the NHS. One thing we really enjoy doing together is craft. As we have been doing lots of craft and activities which my wonderful pre-school team sends us online. We have purchased 50 keyrings and I am going to help draw a rainbow and some Happy faces and put it inside the keyring and offer them in exchange for a donation. Im hoping to raise £100 for the NHS.

I would like to Thank you all for taking the time to read my page and for your donations. Stay Safe.  Love,  Joseph x
