Back in December 2016 I was involved in a serious car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury leaving me with life changing issues. The issues that I have are not generally visible to people but they do affect me in my day to day life with my education and sport. 

Headway supported me and my family during my stay in hospital and offered support afterwards. With many charity events this year being cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19 many charities  will be struggling. With this in mind I've got 26 of us together to complete a 2.6 Challenge, the majority of these people supported me through the early days after my accident and they still do today. Each one of us will run, cycle or walk 10k each, 260k in total. 

Headway promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers. In addition, Headway will campaign to reduce the incidence of brain injury. They are a lifeline to many.
