Story

To remember Josh and celebrate his birthday, please give in his memory to feed families in need in Central Texas.

There are nearly 440,000 food-insecure people in the Central Texas Food Bank's 21-county service area, including children, seniors and veterans.

Hunger Action Month takes on even more urgency this year, given the increased need for food assistance brought about by rising prices.

About the charity

The mission of the Central Texas Food Bank is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger. We provide food through a network of about 300 Partner Agencies and mobile food pantries across 21 counties, an area about twice the size of Massachusetts.
