John and Josh jump for Alzheimer's Scotland · 27 October 2016

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

John and I are going to be shifting weight and jumping out of a plane to support Alzheimer’s Scotland.

We have seen loved ones battle with Alzheimer’s disease and these personal experiences have made us determined to raise money in aid of research to support those who are affected by this disease.

Now, John and I have been talking about skydiving for a few years now, but both of us kept putting off booking it until a recent, fateful Friday. After booking it we realised that there was a weight restriction, which both of us surpassed (clearly for different reasons hah).

With that in mind we’re both looking to lose ~2 stone before our plummet.

We’re looking to raise £1000 for the jump and the ‘training’ that will lead up to it. Any donations that you can make will go a long way. All the money will be going to the cause and we will be paying for the jump ourselves.
