Grief Encounter aims to relieve the emotional distress of bereaved children, young people and their families. We help by developing and promoting resources and by raising public awareness of bereavement issues for children. No-one can wave a magic wand but Grief Encounter can help the journey.

Story

So as you may know, my lengthy locks have been a constant companion of mine since I started Shnat in 2004.  Never has more than a trim been permited in the years since as I have successfully cultivated the "messy unkempt" look to the perfection that it is now.

However, the time has come for my big cut, and if I am parting  company with my hair, I think it is only fair that you part company with some cash!

As RSY-Netzer's cause for the eyar is protecting the child I have decided to donate any money raised to Grief Encounters, who work to help children across the UK who are dealing with a bereavement. This can affect anyone, from any area of the country and any area of society.

Please donate generaously, and help them to help kids at a really difficult time in their lives.

Now for Just Givings's blurb...

Once you donate, your money will be sent directly to the charity and Gift Aid can be reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs (and hair) for the charity.
