So what is the double decathlon?

Well I must admit it is not a marathon or and iron man but rather an event that is not pure endurance nor technique but requires power strength, and agilty.

Day 1:

  • 100 meters
  • Long jump
  • 200 meter hurdles
  • Shot Put
  • 5000 meters
  • pause
  • 800 meters
  • High jump
  • 400 metres
  • Hammer throw
  • 3000 meter steeplechase
  • Day 2:

  • 110 meter hurdles
  • Discus throw
  • 200 meters
  • Pole Vault
  • 3000 metres
  • pause
  • 400 meter hurdles
  • Javelin throw
  • 1500 metres
  • Triple jump
  • 10000 m

    Why am I doing this?

Purely out of the love of athletics and to see how well i'd fare, however to spur me on and make sure I complete it I have decided to compete for charity. I have chosen two worthy charities in my eyes that I hope you will chose at least one to sponsor me for. (http://www.justgiving.com/josh-mouland0/).  The more you guys can raise the more I will have to pull my finger out and perform.

And once again, thanks for donating

Great work people already, over £100 raised so far, keep it up
