Consultant Haematologists Josh Wright, Nick Morley and Eddie Hampton will be joined by two of their patients, Harry Baines and Shane Bytheway, who were both treated successfully for cancer at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

Shane from Chesterfield was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2009. After undergoing chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant he is now fighting fit and in training for the big event.

He will be joined by 24 year-old Harry, a charity service development administrator who was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma when he moved to Sheffield in 2009 to study. 

Although Nick is like a whippet on a bike, Eddie and Josh have probably seen better days and really shouldnt be seen wearing lycra in a public place. 

Haematology at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital is about to undertake a major refurbishment; this gives us a great opportunity to support our own unit and help patients like Harry and Shane get the best treatments in a comfortable environment.
