Josh Willcox and Adam Shafiq have always wanted to run a marathon and thought this summer would be the best opportunity they had. We wanted to raise money for a group called Jimmy's Cambridge who are a local charity that provide help for the homeless. Homelessness is a real problem in Cambridge. We think that fundraising for a charity that provides emergency accommodation and supported housing for people who would otherwise be homeless or vulnerably housed was the best way that we could try to do our bit to provide some relief to the homeless population of Cambridge. We appreciate any donations that people make no matter how big or small and even raising some awareness for the homeless community in Cambridge and other areas is something we find deeply pleasing.
