Last year, I lost my Gran after her second battle against cancer. The Macmillan care team in Peterborough were fantastic to her throughout both bouts and I want to give something back on behalf of my Gran, my family and I.
On October 13th I will be completing the Cologne Marathon in Germany. My first training run, three weeks ago, was the furthest that I’d ever run (10K). I’ve never been a fan of runs longer than 5K so the logical decision for me was to run a marathon this year.
It’s going to be one hell of a battle but still only half the battle that my Gran went through. Every single donation that I can collect, big or small, will be very much appreciated!
I hope to be able to raise at least 1000 euros to help battle against the absolute sh*tpiece that is cancer.
