Lockdown Half-Marathon · 29 March 2020

We are an independent charity that offers people one trusted place to donate during a national emergency. We collaborate with charities and groups all over the UK to raise and distribute funds to support survivors and their loved ones. With your generosity, we can ensure that no one is left behind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This Sunday, I plan to run a half-marathon on my patio, which measures about 5 metres long. This means running up and down it over 4,000 times!

It’s not an epic feat by any measure, but a good chance to get outside, get some exercise and raise a little money for those who might need it most during the lockdown period. Please give generously! Pictures and evidence of completion will be provided!

I will be running to raise money for the National Emergencies Trust. The charity aims to help those most vulnerable in times, such as these, when the unexpected strikes. The Trust works with a range of charities, delivering resources and funds to those that require it most urgently depending on the nature of the emergency. Links to their website can be found on this page.
