Heart Link, was originally formed as a support group for parents and families who have a child suffering from a heart defect. Since 1981 we have collected over £4 million pounds. This has been used to fund projects large and small. Thank you for supporting us!

Story

Hi and thanks for visiting!

In March this year, Billy, a close family friends child, suffered two cardiac arrests and has since been diagnosed with having a tumour on his heart. The doctors concluded that it is inoperable until he is 3 years old and so his parents, Charlotte and Johnny, will have to carry a defibrillator with them 24/7 and will sleep with a heart monitor until it is operable.

Therefore,I'm raising money for Heart Link, a Glenfield based charity established as a support group for parents and families who have a child suffering from a heart defect. It would be great to help other families that are having the same issues, so please help in any way you can by donating.

I know you're probably thinking that it's only a 10k, but I havent ran or played sports in a long time so it's quite far for me to train in 6 weeks! And based on the fact that I have already sprained my ankle once, I'd say that the training is going well! Every little helps so I'd be thankful for anything, and please be sure to tick gift aid if you pay tax! Thanks in advance for any donations. You can track my running activity here: http://gip.is/joshcorb/; the times aren't great from what I've heard but please consider the above! The best part is that Baker Tilly  match up to £250 of the money raised, so I've set £500 as my target!

Thanks again.
Josh
