The best part of each week over the past 3 years is the hour I've spent with my mentee. We have a unique connection built on time together every week in her school. There’s no fixed agenda – mostly listening, playing UNO, drawing and having fun together.

In January this year I joined the MCR Pathways Board as a Trustee so I can contribute more to the bold ambition and success of this incredible charity.

MCR Pathways is a national mentoring programme delivered in secondary schools across the UK, from the Highlands to Surrey. Over 7,000 young people have been supported by volunteer mentors in the past academic year.

This relationship-based mentoring programme is transforming educational outcomes for young people as well a building confidence, aspirations and social skills.
