Story
Why am I running the London Marathon for Sobell?
In April last year my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and very sadly passed away in September.
I have seen the incredible impact that a hospice can have on both someone receiving care and their family. Whether its the fantastic medical care, or just getting a decent cup of tea for family members, the money raised makes a huge difference.
I hope that through this fundraising, it is possible to provide that extra comfort and support for others when facing one of life's more challenging moments.
About Sobell House:
For 42 years, Sobell House Hospice has been providing specialist palliative care to adults with advanced, progressive illnesses and supporting families facing loss. Each year, they provide more than 3,000 people in Oxfordshire with the care they need on their ward, day centre, in the local hospitals and in the community. By making a donation to my cause you are helping to make sure that more people can get the care they need.
