To commemorate the conclusion of his sixth and final year as Almost Home Kids Board Chair, Josh Prangley has decided to run the Chicago Marathon on October 9th. The first time Josh raised money for an Almost Home Kids event, he was told you need to run for me, buddy! He decided it was now or never.

A first time (hopeful) marathoner, Josh is running to raise funds and expand awareness of the unique model of transition care Almost Home Kids offers children with medical complexities and their families as they leave the hospital and prepare their parents to be together at home. It is a transition care model AHK hopes to expand from Illinois to one day serve families on a national basis.

All donations are appreciated and to recognize the generosity of their friends and family, the Prangley's will match all gifts up to a total of $13k to a reach a goal of $26k (to mirror the 26 mile race).
