22 miles, 10 weeks, my pool!!

My name is Josh Snape and I am 13 years old and my mission is to swim the distance of the English Channel (which is 22 miles) at my local swimming pool within a 10 week period - I will be starting my mission on Monday 23rd September 2013 and intend to finish by 10 weeks if not before (fingers crossed).

I will swim weekly and get my lengths logged by my mum or dad and try and keep you all updated on my weekly progress so you can see how far I have swam - 22 miles works out at 1416 lengths (142 lengths per week average)

I am doing this in memory of 2 very special Aunties (Auntie Kath & Auntie June) that my family sadly lost in 2012 because Halton Haven looked after them both in the final months and did a really, really good job so I would like to do something to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to them for all that they do.
