Step up for Zephyrs · 1 October 2020
Joshua wanted to do the mini marathon for Zephyrs but unfortunately it was cancelled due to covid. Zephyrs have created this event to raise much needed funds for the centre to support more people through baby loss as well as pregnancy after loss.
Joshua will be walking a mile a day everyday for 10 days in memory of the two babies that we lost. Please give whatever you're able, 10p per mile maybe.
Thank you!

I'm supporting Zephyr's, a specialist bereavement support centre on the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital, for parents and families who have experienced the death of a baby or child of any age or gestation. Zephyr's is entirely charitably funded; the centre receives no core funding, nor NHS funds. It needs to raise at least £30,000 every year to keep doing the brilliant work that it does.Since opening over 3 years ago Zephyr's has provided professional counselling, therapeutic activities, friendship, peer support and a peaceful, caring environment for hundreds of bereaved parents and families from all over Nottinghamshire and beyond. As one visitor said "Zephyr's helps people to feel like facing the world again."Zephyr's truly makes a difference. With love at its heart, the centre holds and supports bereaved families, please help me, to help them, continue offering this amazing support...
