Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 15th January 2021 I was in a serious car crash where I skidded on black ice & in the process I broke 12 ribs including 7 in 2 places aswell as breaking my C7 vertebrae in my neck & puncturing my left lung. If it hadn't been for the amazing work that the Ambulance service, A&E team, ICU team & cardiothorasic team did then it's fact that I wouldn't be here today. As a result of this I want to do something to give something back to the people who saved me, I am a long distance runner anyway although the accident has made this a much tougher challenge. I am going to complete the Great North run in September to raise money for the NHS charities together fund, I am also running the Manchester marathon on 10th October to raise some additional funds.
